Helping Our Community Get Smart with Their Very Own Smart Phone
4th May 2021Holbeck Together recently received a number of refurbished smartphones to redistribute amongst members of the community with the aim of helping people to become better connected. The phones were provided by environmental charity Hubbub via 100% Digital Leeds.
Phones were given to members of the community along with guides on how to use them produced by Hubbub. The phones were delivered in person on a one-to-one basis with support from Holbeck Together staff and volunteers.
There are still smartphones available free of charge. Don’t miss out on this opportunity – each phone has unlimited calls, unlimited texts and a monthly data allowance.
