Community Development Worker – Better Together

Salary £26,108.64 Full Time per annum

Hours 18.5 hrs per week

Office based Holbeck Together, 99 Domestic Street, LS11 9NS

Main purpose of the role:

To reduce Health inequalities by working and supporting the most vulnerable local people by working with all Holbeck Together and other local organisation community groups across LS11 areas, supporting them to improve the health of the participants.

To set up and support new and existing groups across LS11 based on the unmet need identified by the local community. Identify leaders/ leadership from the group and provide further training and support to access funding, up skilling their knowledge and managing the group independently.

To operate in line with Holbeck Together’s values showing commitment and a positive attitude to the post and Holbeck Together’s objectives.

· Help shape inclusive services for children, young people and families
