This award means so much because it reflects what matters most to us – creating opportunities, offering support, and building a stronger, happier community for children, young people and families in Holbeck.
A huge thank you to our incredible staff, volunteers, partners, supporters, and everyone who voted for us. This achievement belongs to all of you, and we couldn’t do it without your continued support.
We’d also like to say a massive thank you to Child Friendly Leeds and their sponsors for hosting such an inspiring and memorable evening. It was a fantastic celebration of the amazing work happening across the city. A special shout-out goes to the incredible young people who hosted the awards and gave such brilliant performances throughout the night – you made the evening truly unforgettable and should all be so proud!
We’re incredibly proud to be part of such a wonderful community, and we’ll continue working hard to make Holbeck one of the best places to Live, Thrive, Work and Play.
Elissa Newman, Chief Officer at Holbeck Together, said: “We are delighted that Holbeck Together has been nominated for this / won this award, and it means a great deal that the nomination came from young people.
“We know that by investing in children and supporting families early, we can make a lasting difference to health, wellbeing and confidence, while helping to build a stronger community for Holbeck’s future.
We are grateful to our staff, volunteers, funders and partners for the role they play in making this support possible. We are proud to be recognised amongst such strong competition, and we congratulate all of the organisations nominated in this year’s awards.”
Thank you to everyone who voted for us!
