Covid-19 update from our Chief Officer

5th November 2020

Dear friends,

From Thursday 5th November, in line with government guidance for a national lockdown, we will be taking additional steps to protect staff, volunteers and clients, whilst continuing to deliver support services and activities remotely.

Unfortunately this means that the majority of in-person activities planned for the forthcoming weeks will either be postponed or adapted to at-home delivery.

However, I assure you that the staff team at Holbeck Together will continue to be here for you. Whether it be delivering lunches and suppers to your door, doorstep befriending visits, shopping for you or collecting prescriptions, or phone calls to chat and see if we can help out in other ways.

We will be further developing our online activities and embarking on a new programme of ‘Stay Well This Winter’ activities, focusing on wellbeing during these challenging times and working to alleviate the additional challenges that winter brings.

We are still looking forward to celebrating the festive season and will be sending out more detailed information about what activities we can safely provide within the government guidelines.

Stay safe and please keep a lookout: let us know if your friends or neighbours may be struggling at the moment and need additional support.

My very best wishes to you.
