Title of Post: Caretaker (1 year fixed term contract)
- Salary: £13,500 (0.6 FTE £22,500)
- Hours: 22 hrs per week
- Office based: St Matthews Community Centre, Domestic Street, Holbeck, LS11 9NS
Main purpose of the role
Part time caretaker required under the direction of the Operations and Community Engagement Officer to look after a busy community centre based in the centre of Holbeck, Leeds.
Job Responsibilities
Keep the building secure, clean and well maintained, to include:
- small repairs and maintenance.
- disposing of waste.
- moving furniture and equipment as needed.
- calling in skilled maintenance staff for larger repairs.
Working alongside the Operations and Community Engagement Officer to carry out checks and inspections to comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures to create a safe environment.
Engaging with members of the local community.
